Quartz composite is a manufactured product made of 95% of natural quartz. It is a non-calcareous product. Its binder is a polyester resin. Quartz composite is a very hard product, not porous but susceptible to high temperatures and UV. It may not be used outside.

Quartz composite in an older finishing (anticato) must be treated with an appropriate product for composite against spots. We do not advise it because its maintenance is difficult. The black composites are also more complicated to maintain. Cromarbo does not fulfil the guarantee of the manufacturer for those choices. The choice of quartz composite is a choice of modernity.
